Meet Our Providers

Christopher Cleary (he/him)
DNP, PMHNP
Chris Cleary is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who graduated with his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Brandman University, a Chapman University school. His background includes adolescent and adult psychiatric care and treatment of attention deficit disorders. His clinical career took him on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care of everyone from adolescents to adults. His expertise lies in psychopharmacology and the treatment of ADHD, depression and anxiety. He treats adolescents, adults and children ages 8 and above.
In addition, he is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
The aim at diagnosing and treating attention deficit diagnosis involves a careful consultation and work-up. Medication decisions are done using evidence-based guidelines, testing and medication trials to ensure that the dose is appropriate and diminishes most symptoms.

Dr. Jeffrey Litzinger
Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Litzinger is double board-certified in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Litzinger has extensive experience with patients of all ages in private practice, teenage and adult residential facilities, board and care, substance abuse centers, and correctional facilities.
He provides primary and comprehensive psychiatric treatment to children, adolescents and adults, working both solo and as part of a collaborative team. He does comprehensive mental health evaluations, medication management and individual psychotherapy.
While Dr. Litzinger spends most of his time in North Carolina, he makes use of telepsychiatry to maintain established private practice patients in Los Alamitos, California as well as providing treatment to underserved areas in Alaska. Dr. Litzinger uses Computerized Performance Testing for the optimization of stimulant dosages in children and adults with ADHD.
